Founded in 1988, Compro Technology develops and markets PC graphics and multimedia products. With our highly motivated and experienced engineers, innovation is the main focus at Compro. By combining the latest hardware and software technologies, we can provide high quality products to the rapidly evolving PC market.
Compro initially focused on the OEM business by using its engineering and manufacturing skills to produce high quality products. Then in 2001, Compro cooperated with the leading graphics card developer, NVIDIA, and released its first own-branded product, Personal Cinema - the first total multimedia solution that combines a high performance graphics card with a direct-link TV tuner box for the complete digital entertainment solution. In 2002, Compro launched the "VideoMate" brand for PC graphics products, and a complete line of 3D video cards with integrated video features.
Compro introduced VideoMate PCI TV tuner cards and USB 2.0 TV tuner boxes in 2003 with exclusive features consist of Power Up Scheduled Recording, Remote Controlled Power On/Off, Picture Purifying Technologies and original ComproPVR/DTV TV watch/record software; countless worldwide awards were won because of the innovation. During 2004, we extended product lines from main-stream to high-end TV cards and USB TV boxes with superior picture quality and powerful features. In addition, the ISO 9001 certification ensures our customers get quality products.
2005 marked the milestone for the migration from analog to digital TV; to aid the consumers with the transition, Compro launched a new array of digital TV products, including PCI digital TV cards, USB digital TV boxes to the highly anticipated hybrid products. Since the introduction of various digital TV standards and Microsoft Windows Vista, Compro has always planned ahead and released hardware MPEG-2 Media Center cards and USB boxes, digital satellite (DVB-S) cards and standalone high resolution TV boxes. As of 2007, all of Compro’s products offers support for Microsoft Windows Vista and is bundled with certified Windows Media Center remote, Vista Gadget, and DTV Add-In for your convenience.
In the prosperous 2008, Compro aim to bring a new range of new high-end dual hybrid hardware MPEG 1/2/4 TV cards to the ATSC, DVB-T, DMB-T/H and DVB-S systems for the respective markets. |
