A: nView (formerly called TwinView) is a feature of NVIDIA display drivers that allows users to use up to two monitors on their Windows PC. Although Windows itself supports connection of two monitors, nView provides greater flexibility and features.
Q: I don't see nView in my Display properties menu. How can fix it? (Windows XP)
A: The nView properties tab is in the Display Properties -> Advanced properties menu, as shown in Figure 1, below.

If the NVIDIA display drivers are properly installed, verify that you have connected two monitors to your graphics cards. [This requires a video card with two video connectors.] If you have Personal Cinema or VideoMate Cinema, you may also have one computer monitor and one TV.
Next go to the Display Properties dialog box, e.g., right-click on the Windows desktop and select Properties->Settings.
The image of the second monitor should be greyed out as shown by the orange square in Figure 2, below.

If the second monitor is not greyed out, you should detach the second monitor by right-clicking on it and unchecking the menu item called "Attached," as shown in Figure 3, below.

After you are done, the nView tab should be visible.
Your Compro software CD ROM includes a user manual for nView. You may also download this manual from the NVIDIA web site in their driver download area.
