To back up the schedule recording list, please back up "schedule.bin" under following folder.

To back up Channel Table with the custom name you have set and the color distributor settings, please back up the following folder.

No, sorry it's not available. Unforunately, those who are using a ComproPVR 1.X will not be able to upgrade to ComproPVR by simply downloading the provided ComproPVR 2.0 upgrade file.

ComproPVR 2.0 comes with the whole new design interfaces which gives you more freedom to play with your media. ComproPVR 2.0 has better performance and more feature to enable pause while recording, auto splitting recorded file, straight-to-disc (depends on the model), and MPEG-4 recording features.

ComproPVR needs to use components of Ulead PhotoExplore 8.0 SE. If your computer doesn't have PhotoExplore, ComproPVR will fail to record. Please reinstall Ulead PhotoExplore 8.0 SE from installation CD.

You can't record non-support TV format like PAL system signal records as NTSC format. Please choose the correct TV format.

Note: Ulead PhotoExplore 8.0 SE needs serial number and can't be downloaded from Compro.

If you would like to record video in MPEG-4 format, you must supply your own MPEG-4 CODEC. Furthermore, the CODEC must be installed before using ComproPVR. In general, you can download MPEG-4 CODEC from the following web sites.

After you install the CODEC software, you will see the MPEG-4 format appear in the field of recording quality.

Straight-to-Disc is only available with Gold II/Gold Plus II/Ultra PCI Tuner cards and VideoMate Action Ultra models.

This feature is only available on Windows XP and 2000.

You need to install the bundled Ulead DVD MovieFactory and PhotoExplore software in order to have this feature. If you don't have Ulead DVD MovieFactory in the package, then this model doesn't support it.

CD-R or DVD-R is necessary to use this feature.
