Q: Does Personal Cinema and Compro Cinema support Windows XP?

A: Yes. Please download and install the latest display and WDM drivers from our driver download page at www.comprousa.com .

If you are using Compro Personal Cinema, please verify that the version number on your green software CD is version 1.1 or later.

Q: Can I download and use the Detonator device drivers from the NVIDIA web site?

A: Generally, this is OK. You should first check the Compro support web site for any news relating to compatibility issues.

Q: What should I do if I see the error message "Cannot detect device. Please check hardware or re-install driver"?

A: You may see this error message if you are running an old version of the NVIDIA Detonator (display) drivers. Updating to the latest NVIDIA display and WDM drivers should fix this problem. These drivers may be downloaded from from our driver download page at www.comprousa.com .

Q: How do I upgrade my display driver if I am replacing an existing video card in my PC?

A: Before shutting down Windows to physically replace the video card, open the Windows Device Manager, go to the section titled "Display adaptors" and "Remove" the existing device. Now, you may shutdown your PC.
