Advanced Picture In Picture and Picture Out Picture Feature

ComproDTV 4 supports 1 analog TV and 1 recorded video file playback at the same time.

Main window has all features while sub window has limited functions only. Double-click on the sub window can switch the TV program to the main window.

ComproDTV 4 also provides the PIP features to put sub window(s) into main window which is convenient for you to watch multiple programs on full screen mode.

• Running additional windows consumes more CPU usage. If CPU usage reaches 100%, then video lag will occur. Please reduce the number of windows.
• When main window changes the channel to another frequency, sub window(s) will move to available programs of another frequency. The sub window will show black if there is no additional program on this frequency.

Video Desktop for more convenience

ComproDTV provides the new feature of Video Desktop, you can click right mouse button on the TV screen to open the dialog box and choose the Video Desktop mode. And you can set your TV watching screen as the live wallpaper; it’s more convenient to watch TV and using other application on your Windows’ desktop. It also supports PIP feature to watch TV and playback recorded video file at the same time.

The Video Desktop feature also support Picture in Picture feature, and you still can do “Stop”, “Pause”, “Forward”, “Backward”, “Mute”, “Snapshot”, “Windows Alignment” and “Channel Up/Down” on the sub window.

Video capture

TV/FM provide S-Video, composite video, and stereo audio capture feature. Users can easy connect with camcorder or VCR to transfer video files into digital formats in anytime, anywhere.

Supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 Recording

TV/FM supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2 recording and 3rd party MPEG-4 codec plug-in. User can download and install the MPEG-4 codec from internet, then record video with MPEG-4 stream format. It can save more disk space and easy to share to your friends.

Timeshifting

Timeshifting lets you control your TV viewing like never before. You can sit down to watch your favorite sporting event and pause the live action to help yourself to an ice cold beverage from the fridge and then return to your seat without missing a moment of the show. Timeshifting temporary saves the video for a user-defined amount time from now on in your hard disk. You can roll back to the time you left the seat.

The TV/FM built-in the high-quality TV tuner and Philips 9-bit ADC processor chip to provides more vivid, less noise, and sharper picture quality that outperforms standard TV sets.

• Noise Removal– In some of poor quality TV cable and video sources, the video includes a lot of noise. The noise removal feature can helps to remove the noise from video source and give you a clearer video.
  
• De-interlacing– The video transmission in TV system is use interlacing, and this will has less flicker when screen is refreshed at twice the frame rate. But it will cause the bad video quality on the non-interlaced PC monitor. The Compro deinterlacing technology will fix the interlacing problem and give you a clear picture on your system.
  
• Video Smoothing– When setup in the higher resolution of video (ex. 640*480) the video will appear aliasing (or jaggies). Aliasing is the stair-step effect on the edges of objects and can be extremely distracting for the PC user. The video smoothing technology provides more smoothing and nice looking video.
