Advanced PIP/POP

The advanced Picture in/out Picture feature lets you watch live TV show and playback recorded video file at the same time. You can see up to 5 different programs at one time on your PC or laptop. You can also switch the main/sub windows display to your heart’s desire.

Note
Running additional windows consumes more CPU usage. If CPU usage reaches 100%, then video lag will occur. Please reduce the number of windows. When main window changes the channel to another frequency, sub window(s) will move to available programs of another frequency. The sub window will show black if there is no additional program on this frequency.

Convinent Video Desktop

With the Video Desktop feature, you can stream live TV shows as the wallpaper, PIP function is also supported. This way, you can enjoy your favorite TV show while working with your applications.

Timeshifting

Timeshifting temporarily saves the video for a user-defined amount of time on to the hard disk. You can then replay the show without disrupting the recording process.

Supports analog Video/Audio capture with MPEG-1/2/4 formats

VideoMate S500 provide S-Video/composite video and stereo audio capture feature. User can easy connect with camcorder, VCR, VCD or DVD players to transfer video files into digital formats in anytime, anywhere to create your own VCD, DVDs The S300 also supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2 recording and 3rd party MPEG-4 codec plug-in. User can download and install the MPEG-4 codec from internet, then record video with MPEG-4 stream format. It can save more disk space and easy to share to your friends.

• Deinterlacing– Traditional analog TV system is broadcasted in interlaced mode, which only sends out the odd or even lines of a picture at anytime.
