VideoMate Action is a compact TV tuner box featuring USB 2.0 for real-time TV viewing, MPEG- 1/2/4 formats recording, timeshifting, still frame capture, video/audio capturing, with remote control without the need of an external power adaptor.

The VideoMate Action USB 2.0 TV Tuner Box series provides many different features for various needs. The VideoMate Action Ultra equipped with a 3D Y/C separation chip to separate the video inputs from TV and composite into Luminance and Chrominance signals for a crystal clear picture for watching, recording, and capturing, by simply plugging it into the USB 2.0 port of your desktop or laptop. Available in a convenient pocket-size figure, you can place it anywhere without moving any devices on your desk enabling you to watch TV programs anytime, anywhere. VideoMate Action also provides different main feature selections, the stereo version provides TV stereo (MTS or NICAM). The FM version allows you to listen the FM stereo radio on your PC and record as MP3 file format.

In Software

• Noise Removal – In some of poor quality TV cable and video sources, the video includes a lot of noise. The noise removal feature can helps to remove the noise from video source and give you a clearer video.
• Deinterlacing – The video transmission in TV system is use interlacing, and this will has less flicker when screen is refreshed at twice the frame rate. But it will cause the bad video quality on the non-interlaced PC monitor. The compro deinterlacing technology will fix the interlacing problem and give you a clear picture on your system.
• Video Smoothing – When setup in the higher resolution of video (ex. 640*480) the video will appear aliasing (or jaggies). Aliasing is the stair-step effect on the edges of objects and can be extremely distracting for the PC user. The video smoothing technology provides more smoothing and nice looking video.
