Compro VideoMate DVB-T300 is a digital/analog PCI tuner card with a low-profile card design; which can easily fit barebone or mini PC cases. VideoMate DVB-T300 provides both free-to-air digital terrestrial and analog cable TV reception accompanied by Compro's exclusive Power Up Technology, remote controlled power on/off, with superior video quality. Remote Control Power On/Off

Just like the Compro VideoMate TV Ultra, VideoMate DVB-T300 also equips the convenient features of Remote Control Power On/Off. You can use the bundled remote control to boot up or shut down your PC, just like consumer product.

You can Power On your system by press any one of the PVR, or DVD button. And press the SLEEP key to setup sleep time or shut down your system. It's more convenient when you setting on the sofa or lying on the bed.

Power Up

For the easy-to-use record, just like your VCR, the Compro VideoMate DVB-T300 provides the advanced feature of “Power Up Scheduling”, which can wake up your PC from S3, S4*, and S5 mode and automatically record your favorite programs into your hard disk. By doing this, you can do video editing as well, such as cutting commercials. In short, with Power Up Scheduling, you don't have to hurry home to watch MLB World Series. You can even setup Power Up Scheduling to record “Friends” from Monday to Friday.

The VideoMate DVB-T300 raises the performance standard for TV tuner cards with its Picture Purifying Technology in hardware design, all-new Philips digital/analog TV tuner and ComproDTV software. With the enhanced tuner card design, multiple voltage regulators, and hardware digital video scaling. Compro now provides more vivid, less noise, and sharper picture quality that outperforms standard TV sets.
In Hardware:
  • Philips SAA7133/7134 video encoder with ADC chip and new board design to provide clear picture quality
  • Multiple Voltage Regulators – For more stable voltage and reduce the noise (caused by heat). In addition, the regulator on board is far away from TV tuner, but near bracket, which can help to remove the heat.
  • Hardware Digital Video Scaling – User-define aspect ratio and faster video scaling and less system resource needed.
In Software
  • Noise Removal – In some of poor quality TV cable and video sources, the video includes a lot of noise. The noise removal feature can helps to remove the noise from video source and give you a clearer video.
  • Deinterlacing – The video transmission in TV system is use interlacing, and this will has less flicker when screen is refreshed at twice the frame rate. But it will cause the bad video quality on the non-interlaced PC monitor. The Compro deinterlacing technology will fix the interlacing problem and give you a clear picture on your system.
  • Video Smoothing – When setup in the higher resolution of video (ex. 640*480) the video will appear aliasing (or jaggies). Aliasing is the stair-step effect on the edges of objects and can be extremely distracting for the PC user. The video smoothing technology provides more smoothing and nice looking video.
Timeshifting
Besides Power Up Scheduling, people can also use timeshifting through ComproPVR. Timeshifting lets you control your TV viewing like never before. You can sit down to watch your favorite sporting event and pause the live action to help yourself to an ice cold beverage from the fridge and then return to your seat without missing a moment of the show. Timeshifting temporary saves the video for a user-defined amount time from now on in your hard disk. You can roll back to the time you left the seat.
