Philips SAA7133 chipset is the core processor, which enables Compro VideoMate TV Gold Plus to provide high-end video quality and versatile dimension of image processing. VideoMate TV Gold Plus also supports S-Video, Composite connectors, users can therefore connect DVD player, VCR, and even game consoles to PCs.

In addition, Philips FM1236 chipset turn VideoMate TV Gold Plus into a FM radio. By connecting FM antenna to FM connector on the bracket, users can listen to FM broadcasting on PC.

Not only watching TV, which regular TV cards can support, VideoMate TV Gold Plus is fully compatible with all home A/V devices, and therefore can turn PCs into home entertainment center.
